KLO

While the gents were busy golfing, we decided to take the girls up to KLO (Kelowna Land and Orchard). It is really neat and the restaurant has an amazing view of the city and lake.
We thought we would go on the wagon ride through the orchards. At first Sophia didn't like it and wanted off, but she came around and really enjoyed herself.

It was another scorcher that day and it was toasty warm inside the wagon. At least when we were moving there was a bit of a breeze. The guide was awesome and told us about all the fruit they grow in the orchards (apples, peaches, cherries, pears), and how they make different hybrids.

Of course Sadie really enjoyed herself...

This was almost at the end of the ride. Sophia felt comfortable enough to go on her own. Such a big girl, eating her apple...

At the end of the wagon ride they give you a little glass of homemade apple juice. Sophia drank hers, Mom's and Lindsay's. It was very yummy and made for a good ending to our visit.
