Our last day in Kelowna, the neighbors rented a boat and were nice enough to take Sophia and I out before we left for Calgary. Of course, the tube was one of the highlights. Sophia was the first of all the kids to put her thumb out to say 'go faster.' Speed demon in the works?

After all the kids got their first tube ride it, the adults asked if anyone wanted to try water skiing. Sophia, again, was the first one jump in a want to give it a try. Here she is with Dave getting the skis on.
And here she is right before the rope came off the boat. Unfortunately she was like an icicle and completely frozen and couldn't wait for us to get the rope reattached. I was very proud of her for wanting to try and giving it her all. Maybe next year? (At least there were no bails therefore leaving the activities as very fond memories as we head into winter...)
