Hitmen Game

A couple of weeks ago we took Sophia to the Hitmen Game. She had never been to a hockey game before and with the tears she has cried at non-scary events, I was a little curious to see how she would do...

We had Max's company tickets which are 7th row to the left of the goalie. Awesome view but you got to see some good hits. The first one scared Sophia but we explained what was happening and she was fine. She just hid her face when the mascot guy walked right by us, what kid isn't afraid of a huge dog that walks?
The first two periods we had popcorn which was a huge hit as Dad, Sophia and I are all popcorn lovers!

It was Timbit day and there were a bunch of hockey teams there (my cousin Ryan and his son Nolan were there with Nolan's team) and we got the plastic wham sticks. Sophia was pretty good at banging them at the right time, even though I am sure she didn't really have much of an idea what was going on...
Right before the second intermission, Sophia saw an advertisement for Haagen Dazs and mentioned that she wanted one. Really, aren't hockey games all about the junk food? The food thing works wonders though as we managed to last the entire game and the Hitmen won! Thanks to my Dad for coming with us!
