Here are just a few extra pictures that were too cute!

Baba Vera gave Sophia a butterfly outfit and she wouldn't take it off. The stuffed animal (I think bear, Max thinks it's a tiger) used to be Max's. I am surprized it has last as long as it has:)

The first snowfall. It was so wet that we were soaking by the time we came back inside.

For such a large city, Moscow has many parks and green spaces. Almost everywhere you turn you can see one. We all enjoyed ourselves, despite the wet snow.

Before our trip to Red Square, Sophia somehow managed to spot a McDonald's. We really don't go very often but she got it into her mind and there was no turning back. It was a really fancy store and it had it's own 'McCafe.'

Nikita and Sophia. There are many similarities between these two and I think they were the two that got along the best.

The boys have been playing this game called poi. It's seems like a male version of rythmic gymnastics, without the gymnastics. You take two ropes with balls attached to the end and swing them around in various ways, between the legs, around the arms etc. They would practice for us and of course Sophia had to try it. Thankfully she used her nice, soft flowers.

Wearing Uncle Denis' slippers and so proud of it!

More so than any person, Masyana was Sophia's favorite friend. The first thing she would ask about in the morning is "Where is Masymana?" She was very gentle with the cat but still Masyana did the best to avoid Sophia (really, a 2 year old will exhaust everyone and everything).

On our last day, I took my Dad to a T-34 tank museum. He had been taking a course at the University on WWII and they had learned about these Soviet tanks. Amazingly enough, we drove to Vasiliy's house and passed this museum! Dad was really pumped and wanted to go, unfortunately he got stuck with me as the translator.
Everything was in Russian, no English but we managed to figure it out and get him some books to take home. Right as we left there was a beautiful sunset behind all the snow covered trees...
