Who would have thought an owl sticker book, a briefcase and Uncle Denis would be so much fun?
One evening Sophia got a hold of Denis's briefcase and hat and pretended she was going to work. She took out some of her owl stickers and covered herself and the bag just so we would know it was her bag.
Ever since the baby owl crashed into our window at the cabin, Sophia has really been into owls. Thankfully we were able to find an owl book, with stickers, that helped keep her entertained on the plane to Moscow. It was even better that the novelty hadn't worn off by the time we got there...
Running away from Denis who kept trying to rescue his bag (the white parts are all different owl stickers). It's funny that Sophia has totally skipped 'going to school' and instead chooses to 'go to work.'
What a look of concentration...
One of Sophia's favorite games to play with Papa Max is airplane. After she got tired of playing with the bag, she convinced Denis to play airplane. He not only got quality Sophia time, but a bit of a workout too!
Ahh, I wonder who needs a nap now?I really was amazed at how easily Sophia got attached to the Russian family. She has only seen them a couple of times but each time it's like we were never apart. Maybe it has something to do with her being the youngest and the only girl so she gets
lots of extra attention but whatever it is, it makes me smile.
