Thanksgiving Weekend

We were back at the cabin with the Allan's for Thanksgiving Weekend. It was a bit chilly but the firestove was awesome. You could probably wear shorts inside, with the door open and still be toasty warm! Except for my car breaking down in Red Deer (thankfully right outside the Canadian Tire which was the only service place open on a Sunday of a long weekend), the weekend was great.
The 'girls' first thing in the morning. Sophia, for a change, was really hot and decided to take off the pjs all by herself.

Playing in the leaves. Lindsay and I ran into town to grab some groceries so the Dads were in charge. If you look closely, you will notice that Sadie only has on a sweater. She didn't like the jacket she was wearing so the guys took it off. By the time Lindsay and I returned, Sadie was without mitts and a toque also! Sophia on the other hand kept her big winter jacket on, with a sweater underneath and her toque and mitts.

Max and Tyson did their best to collect all of the leaves. There are so many nice, mature trees and they produce an amazing amount of leaves. To collect them easier, we bought a blower, which Max was chasing Sophia around with.

Sophia was driving around on the bike and Sadie decided she wanted a turn. She did like it for a minute and then Sophia hopped on the back:)

Sophia is all about wearing big people's shoes. She is so proud of herself being able to put them on and sort of walk in them. She got Lindsay's shoes on so I asked her to smile and pose for the camera, this is what I got...
