Well, we made it here without too much trouble. For those of you who didn't know we were coming here, Max's brother turned 40 so we thought we would surprize the family with a little visit. The surprize went very well and everyone was genuinely happy to see us. I have a couple of great videos that I will post later when I am a little more awake and have time to wait for the video to upload.
We left Calgary on Tuesday afternoon and arrived here Wednesday afternoon. The flight was thankfully uneventful except that Sophia didn't sleep until 5 minutes before we landed in Frankfurt which was an 8+ hour flight. She was a trooper and was happy to sit with us while we drank our usual beer in Frankfurt (7 am Frankfurt time and 11pm Calgary time).
Next we hopped on the flight to Moscow and finally got Sophia to sleep for a couple of hours. She was very excited to see her Baba Vera and ran to give her a hug (very surprizing considering the amount of sleep she had, normally she is very clingy when tired). It took a little longer than normal to collect our luggage since my Dad's bag didn't arrive (it apparently didn't leave Calgary when we did, don't worry is showed up the next day around 12:30 am!).
We then headed back to Vera's apartment for a rest and to wait for Denis to arrive and begin our many surprizes....
