Sophia has been doing gymnastics (at COP) since January. She absolutely loves going and has learned so much. She can now climb, jump, slide, swing, stretch and has much more body awarenes. Everytime we drive by there she points out the building and yells 'natics!' and then gets mad when we don't turn in.

Sophia is watching, very intently, as the instructor goes through today's obstacle course.

At the beginning, Sophia refused to walk across the beam. Now she can do it with very little help from me.

Sophia's favorite activity is swinging. I am so impressed that she can hang on and swing herself. At one of the swinging stations you are supposed to swing and spin around. When Sophia finished, she could hardly stand and couldn't walk in a straight line! She loved it and kept asking for more.

Very stealth like up the ladder...

Playing hide-and-seek under the ladder...
Who could resist a slide in the shape of an elephant?
Today was our last class until fall and all the children received medals. There was a mat for them to stand on just like the Olympics (they were supposed to put there arms up and wave but Sophia was too busy watching everyone else). Sophia was so proud of her medal that she refused to take it off!
Sophia is very cautious about almost everything. The space between the trampoline and the mat is only about an inch or two but she must go down backwards:) In the background you can see 'the pit.' A highlite for the kids and a real struggle for the parents to get out of.
Donkey kicks were something I thought was going to take Sophia a long time to learn. Then suddenly one week, she was doing them!
